Web Design
This section presents some of the Web Design works I’ve done: some of these projects were developed for my university classes, others as a Freelance Web Designer for the Playwrights Foundation in San Francisco.
In Spring 2019, I worked as a freelance web designer for the Playwrights Foundation (San Francisco). I developed and redesigned their website to promote the organization and its events.
Responsibilities:
-Establish a new visual identity for the website and redesign existing pages;
-Respect the brand guidelines and the instructions of the art directors;
-Apply UX, UI and SEO strategies to improve the website workflow and increase traffic;
-Research stock footage
Tools: Wordpress, CSS, HTML5
For this project I used HTML 5, CSS and Javascript to develop a website for my web design class. The website is built on a 12 column structure. This type of structure guarantees responsiveness across all devices (mobile, tablet or PCs).
The interactive functions such as the Carousel Navigation (seen below) were developed through Javascript.
Zurb was used as the main template to make the website mobile friendly.
A collection of the various Javascript exercises done for some of my web design classes.
The exercises were created using HTML5, CSS and Javascript.
I do not own the images used in the exercises. Images used to illustrate academic work.
The image changes based on the time displayed on the device used.
The scroll down page illustrates a raindrop journey; it contains interactive elements that move across the screen, make sounds and change appearance.
